The Art of Taekwon-Do & Kung Fu

The Art of Taekwon-Do & Kung Fu Lloydminster was founded by Hai Ma after he moved to Lloydminster. Hai has a long background in martial arts training and learned Taekwon-Do at a young age.

Mr. Ma has performed stunts for actors including Jackie Chan and Chuck Norris and lives his life to teach martial arts to others, in which his legacy lives on in his daughter, Eliza.

Eliza (far right) started learning Taekwon-Do when she was 2 1/2 years old, and holds a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwon-Do. Eliza has travelled internationally and has won gold at many tournaments over the years.

When Hai decided to pass the torch on to Eliza, she continued in her father’s legacy teaching Taekwon-Do, Kung Fu, and Weapons to students of all ages and all experience levels.

Lucas van Assem (far left), like Eliza, started learning Taekwon-Do at a young age. Lucas began at Fox Taekwondo in Camrose, AB and has travelled the globe to attend and win tournaments. Lucas holds a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwon-Do.

Eliza met Lucas (now husband), at a tournament where she bested him, and have continued to grow and learn together as they pour our their knowledge into students. Together they carry on what Hai started many years ago.
